This first week of posting is all about welcoming you to my blog, a new season and letting you, my readers get to know me better. And hopefully you will allow me to get to know you.
I have dreams as we all do or I hope you do. One of those dreams is to someday have my own home with a fairly custom made office. Now I have bigger aspirations than just an office but for today that’s my focus. One dream at a time, that’s how I roll. lol Does anyone else have this dream? And what does it look like? I would love to hear about it!
I’m going to show and tell you a little of what my dream office looks like today. I’ve done a rough sketch of the layout and gathered images of how I see it. Below is the floor plan I envision. And below that some examples of what I want my built in cabinets and bookcases to look like. To see more of what I like, visit my Office Inspiration Pinterest board
I’m kind of a neat freak so I like a place for everything and everything in its place. Since this is a combination office/craft studio/classroom, I need a lot of shelves, cabinets and drawers. I will be using it as my graphic design/ministry office so I also need 2 built in desk. I like to keep my work areas separate.
The graphic design desk would need to have a computer or two set up. The ministry desk wouldn’t need all that, just a clear space to write and study. The large table would be my craft work space and also where I would teach crafting classes. That’s why you see all the stools around it for my students.
My craft classes are subjects for another days post but for now, this is a brief glimpse into my dream office. I’ll be sharing more about my decorating dreams as well as other types in later post.
For now, I would love to hear from you about your home office dreams. Please leave me a comment below and tell me about them. Can’t wait to hear form you!
Have a blessed day!
